This all natural turmeric powder is made from organic Himalayan turmeric grown for 3 years on our farm. The natural aging reduces the final yield but enhances the turmeric’s curcumin levels for maximum benefits. It is then boiled, gently sun dried in the pristine mountain sunshine, carefully ground and packed in small batches.

This Himalayan turmeric powder is perfect for seasoning dishes, making chai lattes, for natural skin care or as a grandma’s cure for common ailments.

We are a permaculture mountain farm, started and run by a Pahadi-Telugu couple, in a remote, rural, off the road location near Nainital in the lower Himalayas of Uttarakhand. We are focused on sustainability, self-reliance and being self sufficient.

We practice bio diverse, organic and natural agriculture using a permaculture approach, and do not use any chemical pesticides or urea or any artificial additives or preservatives on our farm or while making and packing our farm products.

We grow in small quantities for our personal use primarily and pack any additional produce in ultra small, seasonal batches that we call microlots so that you too can experience the nutritional goodness of our artisanal, farm fresh products.
