These whole leaf Himalayan bay leaves (tej patta) are harvested from our farm. The leaves are partly shade and partly sun dried in the pristine mountain air to preserve their subtle aroma and flavor. They are then carefully sorted by hand and packed in small batches.
The bay leaves are perfect to season your curries, rice dishes, spice mixes, stews and more.

About Fagunia Farm
We are a permaculture mountain farm, started and run by a Pahadi-Telugu couple, in a remote, rural, off the road location near Nainital in the lower Himalayas of Uttarakhand. We are focused on sustainability, self-reliance and being self sufficient.
We practice bio diverse, organic and natural agriculture using a permaculture approach, and do not use any chemical pesticides or urea or any artificial additives or preservatives on our farm or while making and packing our farm products.
We grow in small quantities for our personal use primarily and pack any additional produce in ultra small, seasonal batches that we call microlots so that you too can experience the nutritional goodness of our artisanal, farm fresh products.
